Alcoholic Beverage Control Division, located in Trenton, New Jersey, has raided 29 different spots for misbranding lower end liquor as high end, more expensive liquor to their consumers.
“Operation Swill,” was a year long sting, with investigators watching as these 29 establishments, both bars and restaurants, filled more expensive empty liquor bottles with lower end, less expensive liquors.
A team of over 100 state investigators, working for The Alcoholic Beverage Control Division, fanned out across the state to study the scamming of customers.
Here is a list of establishments included in this raid. Updates tomorrow when the division holds their press conference.
