December 4th promises to be an empowering night for all women, as The Secret Lounge/Loft in Montclair honors professional woman of the month Marlene Mack.

Founder and owner of the The Secret Lounge/Loft Lecia Bianca has been offering networking events in her spot in Montclair every Wednesday evening.

With deep roots in fashion, Bianca launched her own boutique, filled with unique gifts for you or someone you love. The setting for these networking events shows off the stunning design of Bianca’s space, which includes a private dining room, jewelry galleria, lounge and rental space.

Marlene Mack was born in Montclair, grew up in Newark and has spent her career in education. She founded the All God’s Children Academy in the basement of her home in East Orange, and created her own new curriculum. Called the “Common Sense Approach”, this teaching approach incorporates prayer and basic skills teaching.

After seeing great success in her endeavor, Mack opened One Step Ahead Child Care Center Inc. in 2004. Then, once again experiencing growth, this industrious school owner opened One Step Ahead Learning Center Inc. in an even larger space.

Lecia Bianca graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in fashion buying and textile marketing. During her studies she traveled to London, Florence, Paris and Rome to have hands on training in import and export buying. Her education led her to a career at Bon Wit Tellers, as an international buyer. Lecia then had the responsibility choosing fashions for for 9 different departments. Because of her great success she won buyer of the year 6 years in a row. ?This gave her great recognition in the fashion industry and led her to become one of the most soughed fashion buyers of her time. Upon many accomplishments Lecia decided that she wanted to pursue a career as an entrepreneur. ?After opening a booth at a flea market, Lecia decided she was ready for great things. Lecia continued on her constructive path by opening her first store in South Orange. That store won an award for best décor and window display in the tri state area. As Lecia began to grow in her business she returned to her studies. After hard work and dedication, Lecia earned a degree in interior design at Berkeley College. Over the years she has done numerous design jobs that have yielded many awards. ?Several years ago Lecia opened her prize store, The Secret Lounge in Montclair New Jersey. The Secret is a revolutionary business that encompasses a private dining room, jewelry galleria, lounge and rental space. Lecia created a multi-channel business that encompasses many services. One of these top services is professional styling sessions. Lecia has years of experience styling celebrities such as Allen Alden, Diana Ross, Susan Sarandon, Patty LaBelle, Lauren Hill and Brenda Blackman.?Lecia’s ambition is leading her to bigger and better things. Currently Lecia is renovating a building for the new and improved Secret Lounge. Future plans include franchising The Secret Lounge in various states. Big things are in store for Lecia Bianca and her visionary ideas.
