The Caldwell Community Center is looking spiffy.
Renovations are almost done - and are expected to be 100 percent complete by this Friday.
I took a tour of the facility a few days ago, and was amazed at how clean, modern and bright the center looks now. Even the bathroom tiles in the men's room (yes, I bravely entered!) looked like something you'd find in a very expensive hotel spa - but these guys did it on a very tight budget.
The floor of the gym - where the basketball court is - is a gorgeous, irresistible gleaming spot. Downstairs, the weight lifting room has been opened up so it is much more spacious - and of course their is a cool spinning room and that new aerobics and baby-sitting room as well.
Forget the big chain-store gyms - this one has an indoor pool.

Renovations are moving along: the pool is full, locker rooms are being tiled, gym floor is being striped, the fitness center is almost ready! We are pleased with how quickly things are progressing.
Construction will continue through the weekend; and, by Monday, we will know when we can start reopening sections of the building -- as soon as possible and practical!
In the meantime, the Front Desk will be available from 7AM to 1PM this weekend and from 7AM to 7:30PM on Monday and Tuesday to accept registrations, memberships and renewals and to answer questions concerning the renovations.
