Montclair Kimberley Academy (MKA), a thought-leader in education, is always on the cutting edge with relevant topics affecting activists, authors, and those helping to shape the most important issues in today’s news arena. The Parents’ Association of Montclair Kimberley Academy (PAMKA) is excited to announce a special presentation and lecture with National Magazine Award Winner, Rebecca Traister.

Traister will lead a discussion based on her most recent book: GOOD AND MAD: The Transformative Power of Women’s Anger, Past, Present and Future. This special event is free and open to the public, and will take place at MKA’s Middle School Logan Auditorium, 201 Valley Road (Entrance on Brunswick Road), Montclair, NJ on Tuesday, December 4th from 7:00-8:30 p.m. (doors open @ 6:30 p.m.)

A National Magazine Award winner, Traister is writer at large for New York magazine and focuses on women in politics, media, and entertainment from a feminist perspective. She also writes for The New Republic and Salon and has also contributed to The Nation, The New York Observer, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Vogue, Glamour and Marie Claire. She is the author of All the Single Ladies and the award-winning Big Girls Don’t Cry.
