The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the East Orange Police Department are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision this morning in East Orange at Main Street and South Harrison.
The victim has been identified at Christie Noble-Ross, age 21 of East Orange. Ms. Noble-Ross was crossing the street with her three-year-old son at approximately 6:58 am today when she was struck and killed by a Coach USA bus. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The child was transported to the hospital but did not sustain any physical injuries.
No one has been charged at this time. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
