The College Women’s Club of Montclair is presenting a lecture this Saturday, March 10

by our favorite local historian, Phil Jaeger, retired former high school mathematics teacher.

Phil Jaeger is a trustee of the Passaic County and Cedar Grove Historical Societies. He is also

a member and a former director of the Canal Society of New Jersey. He will speak on Overbrook Hospital beginning with its opening in 1898. He will discuss the early years of the hospital, its expansion in the 1900's, daily operations, patient activities, daily operations and the reason for its demise.
