Montclair Mayor Jerry Fried arrived in China and hit the ground running.
His first stop was to appear before a crowd of about 4,000 people who cheered for Fried and others visiting China to discuss potential business opportunities between the country and Montclair.
With revenues down dramatically in the township, Fried said he wanted to explore possible connections that could be fostered between China and Montclair.
