Course. The event on Tuesday, May 26th was held to announce the completion
of a comprehensive facelift for Francis Byrne Golf Course, which is named
for the former governor's father. The upgrades are part of an $7 million,
two-year initiative to modernize, improve accessibility and create more
challenging play at each of the County's three public golf courses - Francis
Byrne in West Orange, Hendricks Field in Belleville and Weequahic in Newark.
