Local historian Phil Jaeger will present a slide-lecture titled "Castles of New Jersey" on Sunday, October 20 at 2;00 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.

This program will take you on a journey of twelve of the castles that were built in New Jersey a century or more ago. Some of the well-known castles discussed in the program are Lambert Castle in Paterson, Kip's Castle in Verona and Iviswold Castle in Rutherford. Many of the castles exist as originally constructed, some have been disguised and others have simply vanished.

This program, co-sponsored by the Historical Society of West Caldwell and the Friends of the Library, is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required. To sign-up, call the Library at 973-226-5441 or sign-up online @ https://bccls.libcal.com/event/ 5693872.
