Notice for paving in Montclair and Bloomfield from Essex County

TO ALL RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES ON ALEXANDER AVENUE AND ITS VICINITY, TOWNSHIP OF MONTCLAIR AND TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD:

Please be advised that on or about August 4, 2014, weather permitting, Essex County will pave Alexander Avenue from Grove Street to Broad Street during the day (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) under the Essex County Roadway Resurfacing Program.

While paving is taking place, sections of Alexander Avenue will be intermittently closed to non-emergency traffic. During these operations, access to and from your driveway or street may be prohibited. If you need to enter/leave your home/business during this time (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.), please make arrangements to park your vehicle at another location.

PLEASE FOLLOW ALL DETOUR SIGNS. PARKING ON ALEXANDER AVENUE DURING CONSTRUCTION WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. NEW TRAFFIC PATTERNS AND SIGNS WILL BE POSTED.
