Montclair Police Seek driver in Hit and Run

On 01-24-2017 at 6:16 pm, Montclair Police Officers were dispatched to a hit and run motor vehicle collision in which a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of Glenridge Ave and Pine St. The pedestrian, 45 yoa female from Montclair, was struck by a motor vehicle while walking west on Glenridge Ave. The involved motor vehicle was traveling west on Glenridge Ave and struck the pedestrian while attempting to make a left turn onto Pine St. The motor vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival and was last observed traveling south on Pine St from the intersection of Glenridge Ave. The involved vehicle is described as a white sedan; unknown make, model, registration at this time.

The pedestrian was transported to University Hospital, Newark via ambulance. The pedestrian was treated for non-life threatening injuries and her condition is listed as “stable.”
