(BPT) - Kia America recently launched the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) to provide military veterans with the opportunity to become a trained Kia technician through a comprehensive training and apprenticeship program. In conjunction with Educational Resource Systems and Kia America retailers nationwide, this program will provide qualified Veterans with career opportunities as they become Kia trained and certified technicians.
Kia’s Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program includes a one-year apprenticeship, during which Kia America and their retail partners provide participating veterans with access to the equipment, vehicles and technical training needed to complete the certification process. In addition, eligible Veterans may apply for — and receive — a GI Bill Monthly Housing Allowance during their apprenticeship.
