In honor of Women's History Month, the West Essex Woman's Club will sponsor the annual "Women of Achievement Awards Ceremony" on Thursday, March 21 at 6:30 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.
Five local women will be honored for their volunteerism and outstanding community service. The honorees include: Judy Crawford, Carol Crump, Mildred Fitzburgh, Kathy Marinaccio and Janet Oscar. The local heiress and sportswoman Mary Washington Bond (Morosini) Crabbe del Rio (1902-1981) will be honored posthumously.
Roxanne Douglas, president of the West Essex Woman's Club, will present the honorees with certificates and a reception will follow the awards ceremony.
