The Allegro Singers, under the direction of pianist Inna Leytush, will present a concert entitled “Tribute to Rachmaninoff” on Sunday, May 20 at 3:00 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.
In honor of the 145th anniversary of the Russian composer, Sergei Rachmaninoff, soloists will perform some of his famous art songs and a medley from his opera "Aleko." Music by other composers born in May, such as Brahms, Massenet and Tchaikovsky, will also be performed. The soloists will be accompanied by the award-winning pianist Inna Leytush.
