New Jersey Governor Chris Christie made a surprise stop in Caldwell minutes ago, and visited with the many senior citizens who frequent the popular Caldwell Community Center.

The governor said hello to a packed house, as part of his numerous campaign stops. Christie thanked everyone for all of their support, and reminded everyone to get out and vote.

On hand was Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo, Jr, who thanked the Republican governor for always being a supporter of the county and reaching out always across party lines.

And, along the way, Governor Christie happily held up the tee shirt for Caldwell Republican candidates for council current member Tom O'Donnell and running mate Pat Copozzoli.
