Art Historian Michael Norris, PhD will present a slide-lecture about the life and work of the renowned painter Vincent van Gogh on Sunday, November 10 at 2:00 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.

Since van Gogh had no children, he viewed his paintings as his progeny. Norris will focus on van Gogh's paintings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and will provide an overview of his life experiences and how they influenced his art. He will also talk about the differences between original artwork and reproductions.
