"Salute to Doris Day & Patti Page: Songbirds of the Fifties"

Equity actress and professor Dr. Diane Cypkin will present a concert-lecture titled "A Salute to Doris Day and Patti Page: Songbirds of the Fifties" on Sunday, April 28 at 2:00 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.

Cypkin will sing the hits of these two iconic artists and share personal stories to bring their music and their era to life. Some of the songs to be performed include Tennessee Waltz, Doggie in the Window, and Old Cape Cod (sung by Patti Page) as well as Que Sera Sera, Secret Love, and It's Magic (sung by Doris Day). Pianist Lena Panfilova will accompany Dr. Cypkin.
