The Montclair home of deported Russian spies Richard and Cynthia Murphy, as they were known in the U.S., has been empty for 7 years. When the couple, whose real names were Vladimir and Lydia Guryev, were arrested and charged with spying for Russia, neighbors and friends were shocked. The Murphy's were experts at leading double lives, and their children had no clue their parents were Russian born spies living the American dream in Montclair, New Jersey.

The split level home is located at 31 Marquette Street.

Now, the home where the Russians lived is going on the market. This split level sits on a quiet tree lined street, with easy access to the NYC trains and buses.

Local investor Jeremy MacDonald is going to renovate the home and expects the sales price to be in the vicinity of $700,000.

Updates to follow.
