As always, in Nutley the spirit of Christmas cannot be dampened by anything, even the Pandemic.

Santa Claus is planning a special Covid safe visit to the Township of Nutley.

Keeping with the spirit of the season and to bring some holiday cheer to Nutley residents, Mayor Mauro G. Tucci and the Department of Parks and Recreation have announced Santa Claus is coming to town on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Vehicles can enter by heading north on Franklin Ave.  Santa will be stationed in front of John Walker Middle School located at 325 Franklin Ave.  Event staff will be on-site to direct traffic.  Traffic flow will pass the Nutley Oval heading toward Chestnut Street.

“Join us for this magical, socially distanced Christmas experience," said Mayor Tucci. "Santa will be waiting there to wave as the vehicles slowly drive-by,”

Be sure to wave at Santa and take a look at the spectacular holiday light display in the Nutley Oval.

A rain date has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 15th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
