The Montclair Society of Engineers is pleased to have Professor James D. Wright of the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Rutgers, Piscataway. In his s family-friendly presentation Professor Wright will talk about his research interests, including how past ocean circulation changes influenced climates over the past 25 million years, and what he learns from ocean and land sediment samples. Students will have a chance to learn some of the things that geologist and earth scientists do, and what students learn in the earth and planetary sciences program at Rutgers.
Professor Wright received his PhD (Geosciences) from Columbia University.
