Kidchella, a family-focused festival with live music, food, fun activities and more, will take place on Sunday, June 10 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. The free outdoor event is presented by the Kids Business Committee of the Montclair Center BID and will take place at the Montclair Community Pre-K at 49 Orange Road in Montclair.
Music will be presented by the Watchung Mountain Riders, Owls & Lions, the School of Rock Montclair and DJ James Vincent. Izabelle the Amazing hula hooper will also perform. Families will enjoy arts and crafts, a photo booth, face painting, a braid station, henna art and fairy hair. There will be a wide selection of artisan food for sale from Montclair restauranteurs and local vendors as well as hands-on activities from Montclair organizations.
Kidchella is sponsored by the Montclair Learning Center, NJ Kids, Cycle Bar Montclair, Montclair Community Pre-K, Little Nest Portraits and Dirt & Noise Kids.

The Montclair Center BID is directly responsible for the music performances, beautification projects including plants and decorations, banners, wayfinding signage, the Crane Park Market and maintenance throughout the district. Working with the Township, local utilities and services and its renowned Ambassador staff, it ensures that the downtown Montclair area is clean, bright and in excellent working order. By encouraging dynamic collaboration, the Montclair Center BID also creates exciting events for shoppers and tourists, marketing opportunities for retailers and restauranteurs, and actively seeks to improve the area for businesses and residents.
