Junior Girl Scouts Program: Breakfast at the Farm. Saturday, June 23 at 10 am.
Work towards your Junior Girl Scout Simple Meals and Playing the Past Badges with Rutgers Cooperative Extension 4-H and the Montclair History Center. Scouts will tour the farm, interact with live chickens, take a sensory tour of our herb gardens to select our herbs, and understand our cooking and agricultural past with a visit to our hearth kitchen. Activities will include firing up the hearth fireplace and making scrambled eggs, toast, farm fresh veggies, and cider. Scouts will take home herb bundles to dry and harvest the food themselves at the farm! 108 Orange Road, Montclair. Registration required through the Girl Scouts of New Jersey.
