The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum will host its inaugural Veterans Job & Resource Fair for veterans and military families on Friday, November 15 from noon to 6:00pm on Pier 86 (located at 46th Street and 12th Avenue) in Manhattan. Both veteran and corporate participants will be available for interview.
Taking place in the hangar deck of the historic aircraft carrier Intrepid, the Veterans Job & Resource Fair will showcase over fifty organizations recruiting for open positions and resource partners offering benefits and programs for veterans and their families. Throughout the day, workshops geared towards job acquisition and expanding professional development will be led by experts. The event will include resume writing workshops, community resources, job recruiters, professional headshots and more. It will wrap up with a networking reception with remarks by Susan Marenoff-Zausner, president of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

The schedule for the Veterans Job & Resource Fair is as follows:
Noon–5:00pm: Guests can explore the recruitment and resource exhibitor booths, get a professional headshot with makeup touchups by Maybelline, relax in the hospitality area and head over to the computer lab for job applications and resume revisions.
2:00pm & 4:00pm: Resume writing workshops
12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm & 4:30pm: One-on-one resume review sessions
1:00pm & 3:00pm: Financial wellness seminar presented by Bank of America
2:00pm & 4:00pm: Preparing for the Hiring Process presented by KPMG
5:00pm: Networking reception and remarks from Museum president
