In honor of Women's History Month, the literary event "Girl Talk: A Women's Poetry Reading" will be presented on Saturday, March 16 from 1-4 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.

Diane Lockward, local award-winning poet, will organize this poetry reading featuring 30 published women poets from throughout New Jersey. The poets will be reading some of their poems focusing on various women's issues. Some of the poets from Essex County who are participating in this event include: Broeck Blumberg, Theresa Burns, Jessica de Koninck, Sandra Duguid, Laura Freedgood, Tina Kelley, Marcia LeBeau, Charlotte Mandel, Marilyn Mohr and Carole Stone.

Some of the poets will be selling and autographing copies of their poetry anthologies and a reception will follow the poetry reading.
