As of today, President Trump is still calling the seriousness of the virus a sham and vowing not to wear a mask, a Stanford study reports this is linked to at least 30,000 cases and 700 COVID-19 deaths.

A previous study predicted due to the president's statements about not wearing masks he may be linked to about 83,000 deaths.

Late yesterday, the Food and Drug Administration approved a shot to hope for the American people: the emergency use for the new Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19.

With this historic rapid approval of a new vaccine for the virus that is decimating the population around the world, first responders such as beleaguered doctors and nurses and then other health workers in the US will be begin getting their first shots almost immediately.

The new Pfizer vaccine was created by the joint teams of NYC-based Pfizer and German used BioNTech. The vaccine must be administered in two doses, three weeks apart, and offers a whopping 95 percent efficacy rate.

People who have severe allergies may not be candidates for this vaccine, though no official warnings have been shared as of today.

Next up for FDA approval is the Moderna vaccine, which is expected to be approved by this week and delivered by the week of December 21.

With almost 300,000 people dead from Coronavirus as of today, December 12, experts are warning that the numbers of victims’ fatalities may double by March 2021.

The new record-breaking surge of daily deaths in December are being liked to American spending Thanksgiving with friends and family, against all warning from the CDC and scientists.

The massive death toll wreaked upon the American public has caused the nation to be categorized as a “Humanitarian Crisis”. Scientists warned the public to don masks while outside their own homes; keep a safe distance of six feet from others and not to spend any time indoors even with family members during the holidays.

The inoculation of the general public is expected to begin sometime in March or April.

Once you do have the two shots of a COVID-19 vaccine, it is critical you wear a mask while in public until about 80 percent of the population has had their inoculations. The virus, once you are inoculated, can infect you without symptoms so you may spread it to anyone who has not yet been vaccinated.

If recent history shows us anything, with half of the American population calling mask-wearing a violation of their rights in spite of the results of such actions being infecting others and killing them, we are in for a very deadly spring as well.
