MONTCLAIR, N.J. The Montclair Public Library’s popular photography series exhibits continues with“Contemplations II” by multi-media artist Karen M. Kenner. The exhibit will be on view in the Montclair Public Library Gallery, 50 South Fullerton Avenue, during library hours from July 1 through July 29, 2017.

A native of Bergen County, NJ and a Registered Nurse by profession Karen Kenner graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University BSN class of 1981. She took one introductory to art class in college and has been creating works of art ever since. Kenner is a mixed media artist mainly using pastels: oil and chalk, and pencil. Upon retirement art has been a great part of her leisurely activities.

Kenner began posting her art on Facebook and at the suggestion of others inquired about presenting her pieces to the public. Kenner’s first art exhibit was in September 2016 at the Montclair Unitarian Universalist Church.

Be sure take time out of your busy day and enjoy this breathtaking exhibit on display in the gallery throughout the month of June.

The Library welcomes inquiries from local artists and arts organizations regarding use of the exhibit space. For further information, please contact the Montclair Public Library (973) 744-0500 ext. 2221.
