The Allegro Singers, featuring three internationally renowned soloists, will present a concert titled “Italian Opera Favorites” on Sunday, May 19 at 3:00 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.
Operatic soprano Liora Michelle (pictured), tenor Hamid Rodriguez and baritone Ricardo Rosa will perform beloved arias and duets from Il Trovatore by Verdi, Madama Butterfly by Puccini, Le Cid by Jules Massenet and The Barber of Seville by Rossini. Some popular music selections will also be included. The soloists will be accompanied by award-winning pianist and founder/director of Allegro Singers, Inna Leytush.
This concert, co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library, is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required.
