Acclaimed folk–rock duo Aztec Two-Step looks forward to performing The Simon & Garfunkel Songbook Show: An Evening of Songs & Stories at the South Orange Performing Arts Center, Friday, October 27, 2017 at 8PM.

After decades of possessing a rich musical legacy of their own, Shulman and Fowler will interpret and perform the timeless songs and harmonies of their iconic predecessors Simon & Garfunkel.

Tony Traguardo will join the duo as guest narrator. He will share Simon & Garfunkel’s musical history and anecdotes by the late legendary rock historian and WNEW & WFUV DeeJay Pete Fornatale’s original “script” based on his many years of friendship and interviews with Paul & Art, and his publication “Simon & Garfunkel’s Bookends.” The musical performance will be interwoven with a multi-media presentation including their many pre-Simon and Garfunkel incarnations and more.

Often reviewed as having the “intellectual lyricism” and “ethereal harmonies” of Simon and Garfunkel, after decades of possessing a rich musical legacy of their own, it made sense that critically acclaimed Aztec Two-Step would also choose to interpret and perform the timeless songs and harmonies of their iconic predecessors and create this engaging evening of songs and stories. The evening will be filled with the beautifully interpreted songs – Aztec Two-Step style - as well as fascinating stories and their usual light-hearted on-stage banter.

Tickets: $28-$38
