Meet Today's Man - A Pro-Active approach to fostering community trust

How do you offer a positive role model, as a police officer and a man?

The answers to this question vary, and are not always clear.

Recently, a member of the Montclair Police Department Community Service Unit (CSU) took time out of his busy day to help others understand his role, and how being part of the community can assist not only in public safety but also in keeping an open line of communication always available for the public.

Officer F. “Rikki” Cook of Montclair Police Department’s Community Service Unit (CSU) served as a panelist for the “Today’s Man Expo II” hosted by Mr. Charles Dixon.

The event was well attended by men (20 - 85 years of age) at Trinity Temple Church located at 115 Greenwood Avenue. Officer Cook fielded law enforcement questions, as well as how the CSU works to build positive police/community relations.
