The Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex are building an inclusive playground for children of all abilities here in West Caldwell.

Supporting this all access playground, The Provident Bank Foundation made a donation towards the development of the playground.

“We are so pleased to be part of projects that will have a significant impact on the physical, social and knowledge base for young children,” observed Chris MacIntyre, formerly Assistant Vice President of the Roseland Provident Bank branch and a Kiwanian.

“Being involved in such a wonderful project that will have long lasting, positive effects is exactly what we look to support,” added Jane Kureck, Executive Director of the Provident Bank Foundation.

The playground will be an all-access area, so that children with special needs may enjoy the fun spot with all children. All-access playgrounds are specially designed to welcome not only typical children but also those with special needs. This will be the only All-Access playground in the area.

“We’re thrilled with the way this playground is developing, as our goal was to have it ready for the children to enjoy this spring. We anticipate the rubber base and fencing to be up within another week or so; and then, let the fun begin” stated Mary Ann Luke, President of the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex.
