Non-profit domestic violence awareness and educational group S.O.F.I.A.

is hosting a candlelight vigil on Monday, October 27 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Crane Park in Montclair.

"We are going to light candles to bring awareness and help promote our advocacy against domestic violence," noted founder Cynthia Walker.

This is a free event. All you have to do is show up.

Walker said a speaker very familiar with domestic violence will say a few words.
