Caldwell photographer wins “Beauty of New Jersey Photo Competition”

New Jersey artist and Caldwell resident Janet Markman, known for her photographs of local nature, took first place in this year’s EarthShare® New Jersey “Beauty of New Jersey Photo Competition” .

The event was on April 17 at The Grounds for Sculpture, Hamilton, NJ.

Markman’s winning photograph, “Chipmunk”, was taken in Verona Park, near the photographer’s Caldwell hometown.

Markman was celebrated as the first EarthShare® New Jersey contestant to win for two consecutive years, receiving the second place award in 2014.
