Update:

In Montclair, replacing a voting machine that broke down at Northeast School was done at fast, but there is a wrinkle. Montclair has on its ballot a referendum, that is ONLY in Montclair.

The referendum is NOT located in the new replaced voting machine.

Montclair Municipal Clerk Linda Wanat is on it - and for now, voters can fill in their paper emergency ballots. The referendum is to decide if Montclair should have an ordinance for earned sick day leave days for employees - but only in the private sector, since state law prohibits doing this in the government jobs (along with union contract agreements).

As usual, nothing about unique Montclair can be found in a "factory" machine!

Updates on this issue to follow.
