141 More Cuts at Gannett at North Jersey Media Group

The ink is truly dry. Gannett is laying off another 141 employees at the North Jersey Media Group.
The laid off workers will receive notification this week.
Included in the massive cuts are court reporters, who follow trials in depth, and other writers.
North Jersey Media Group is comprised of numerous publications including the magazine "201", The Record and others.
The Gannet Company, a large media firm that owns 109 publications including USA Today, announced their purchase of The Record of Bergen County in July,2016 paying about $40 million to the Borg family who owned the publications.
