100 Million People in Path of 2,000 Mile Storm
This may be the ice storm that tips this winter from aggravating to disastrous. Today, a wintry icy storm is hitting states from Missouri to Maine, as 2,000 miles in the U.S. will be feeling the wrath of a yet another storm. 100 million U.S. residents are in the path of this massive storm, and here in New Jersey, we will see the hail, ice, snow and rain associated with this newest winter weather. As for predicting the weather - as you all know, no one can really say with absolute certainty what will occur today, tonight or tomorrow. However, local and national weather forecasters are predicting extremely ice conditions, which may lead to power outages. Today, be sure you plan to stay home as early as possible tonight. Keep a flashlight handy. Have your cell phone and computer charged. Stay indoors if it's very icy. Local schools may be closed if the weather is truly dangerous, but we'll all just have to wait and see.
